Leafs go for 5 in a row

So here we go. The Bruins are in town again. The last time they were here they played Tuukka Rask in goal – the young goalie we traded to Boston for ::cough:: Shakey Raycroft. But tonight, Tuuka sits. Tonight Boston ices Alex Auld between the pipes: he of the “falling out of a grace in Phoenix” fame.

The buds are 1 game over .500 after supreme efforts in the last 5 games, and want some payback for the shame Rask rained down on them last time around. What an ascent, from 13th in the conference to 8th. Talk of a playoff spot race is already rumbling through Leaf Nation. Oh… the January of it all….

Should be a barn burner. Boston is mediocre on the road, and the Leafs are, well, mediocre at home so far. We’ve yet t beat them this year. I do remember that 10 – 2 drubbing we handed them in Boston last January. Maybe we have another one of those in Santa’s bag for Boston tonight.
