Kessel finding his game, Tlusty gone
Phil Kessel is getting his game back. Not that he ever really lost it, but 6 months of shoulder rehab can put virtual lead in anyone’s gloves. Just in the nick of time. The Leafs are ion the road in Boston Saturday night. Should be a humdinger.
Speaking of heavy gloves, I don’t think those 2 goals jason Blake got last night are going to do anything to raise his stock with Brian Burke. In the unlikely event Burke can find a team that is willing to take him off the Leafs’ hands, I still think he’ll be gone before too long. Burke will likely eat some of his salary in order to get rid of him.
Meanwhile, Jiri Tlusty packed his bags and headed off to Carolina. I don’t know that Philippe Paradis will be any better, but it was clear Tlusty wassn’t going to have a bright future in Leaf Nation.
GO LEAFS GO!!!
