3 stinkers to start

Well, can’t say as I’m all that happy with the results, though the season opener did show some signs of promise. The hammering by Washington and a sleeper against the Sens since then iced that enthusiam pretty damned fast. Hardly reminiscent of the fairly decent preseason.

So let the goalie controversy rock Leaf Nation, that’s all. It’s become painfully obvious Toskala may not survive in Toronto beyond 2009. With the fans being as rabid as they are you wonder how the Leafs have been able to get by for the last few years. Ed Belfour looked great after the Raycroft trade started stinking to high heaven and things seem to have gone downhill and stayed that way ever since.

Long wait until game 4. Blockbuster continues to offer a reasonabyly priced plan B.
